Can I work with you from out of state (not in Oregon)?

Yes, I am able to work remotely with patients NOT living in the state of Oregon, for cash services only. These visits will be considered as a health consult. I am not able to provide medical services for patient’s outside of the state of Oregon (my state of licensure) such as lab workup, diagnosis, or treatment. I am however able to offer health advice.

Can I see you for speciality naturopathic care or primary care or both?

All options! I can serve as your primary care provider AND your naturopath, or just one or the other. It’s about what suits your needs!

What ages do you see?

Ages 14 through end of life.

How do I get medication refills?

Ideally, schedule an appointment for any controlled substance refills. Request other medication refills directly from your pharmacy 5 business days prior to running out of your medication and I will send in refill authorization. I will need to see you every 3 months for most medication refills to ensure you are still tolerating well and no changes are necessary.

What can you offer as a naturopathic primary care physician?

Annual wellness exams, annual gynecologic exams, pap smears, mammogram orders, screening blood work, prostate screening, colonoscopy referrals, as well as other indicated screenings based on individualized age and risk factors. I am here to offer urgent care visits, chronic disease management, health optimization, lifestyle medicine, and develop a health care plan that is tailored to your unique needs. I am able to order and interpret labs, imaging, diagnose conditions, refer to specialists, and act as a hub to integrate and navigate your care team. I can prescribed medications, and offer other modalities as you prefer.

What is craniosacral therapy and what is it used for?

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle and subtle manual therapy that aims to release tensions, restrictions and misalignments in the body. It is a hands-on therapy developed from the osteopathic medical tradition. The practitioner gently manipulates the base of the skull and near the tailbone with their hands, two locations where there are a high concentrations of specific nerves exiting the spinal cord. These nerves are known as the parasympathetic nervous system, our “rest and digest” signalers. The goal is to optimize the functioning of this branch of our nervous system. It can be used safely alongside conventional treatments. Treatments are given by qualified practitioners as part of a patient-centered, integrated approach to healthcare.  

Craniosacral therapy can be offered to children and adults for a variety of conditions: 

 Children: Recurrent ear infections and sinus infections, Hyperactivity, Behavioural problems, Sleep disturbance, nightmares  

Adults - chronic post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, anxiety, depression, muscular aches and strains, Problems arising after injuries, Temporomandibular (jaw) joint pain and disorders, chronic tension headaches, Stress related conditions, anxiety Insomnia,  Exhaustion
